Manatt Health Director Kevin McAvey will moderate a panel session titled, “Using State All Payer Claims Databases to Inform Policy and Program Design and Evaluation,” at the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM) in Seattle, Washington on June 27, 2023.

During this session, panelists will discuss how All-Payer Claims Databases (APCDs) are increasingly being accessed and used by policymakers, regulators, researchers and other stakeholders in the nearly 20 states where one has been established to inform policy, program and purchasing decisions.

The ARM will convene a large and diverse group of stakeholders at the intersection of health, health care, and policy to share important findings and showcase the latest research on how the health system works, what it costs, and how to improve it.
