Manatt Government and Regulatory Practice’s Alfredo Medina, legislative advisor, was profiled by Sacramento Business Journal as one of its 2020 “40 Under 40” honorees. This list “celebrates those individuals who reflect the drive, commitment and passion that help make Sacramento great,” according to the Business Journal.
Medina was recognized for his work advising numerous Fortune 500 companies through a variety of policy and legislative issues. In particular, Sacramento Business Journal noted that he successfully promoted solar power generation in California by changing state policy to relieve solar generators from unnecessary and burdensome state mandates. Medina’s profile also highlighted his involvement with the California Latino Capitol Staff Association, including his role as co-chair of the organization’s executive board.
