Thakur and Zander Named to SDBJ’s 2025 Leaders of Influence in Technology

Manatt Technology and Intellectual Property Litigation Leader  and Financial Services Partner  were recognized as 2025 Leaders of Influence in Technology by San Diego Business Journal. 

A highly sought-after trial attorney, Thakur was highlighted as a pioneer of alternative litigation funding strategies, which brings patent and IP litigation cases to bear for those who could not afford it otherwise. Among his numerous cases, he is currently representing Monticello Enterprises against major companies in a complex 6-patent lawsuit relating to digital payment methods for customers. Thakur also represented CliniComp in a patent infringement lawsuit regarding their health care management system resulting in a multimillion-dollar victory. 

Having extensive experience representing banks, private credit providers and companies across a wide range of financial matters, Zander was highlighted for navigating clients through a variety of financial transactions including traditional commercial credit transactions. He represented many companies in multimillion dollar financial matters including Runway Growth Capital in connection with its $20M growth capital commitment to a top consulting, technology and services provider. Additionally in the past year, Zander has represented lenders in connection with more than $250 million in loan restructurings.
