Sharon L. Woda
With a deep understanding of health care policy, strategy and business trends, Sharon Woda advises both public- and private-sector health care companies on solutions for navigating changes in the health care system.
Working with payers, providers, foundations, associations and other health care companies, Sharon provides strategic and business advice on topics related to delivery system reform, implementation of population health and value-based payment models, and the changing role of Medicaid managed care organizations. She also has specific experience in helping states design and implement new, innovative solutions that improve health for low-income populations and in helping clients develop business and sustainability plans and implementation road maps in light of policy and market changes. Sharon specializes in solutions that target improvements in outcomes for children and women.
A skilled facilitator, Sharon has significant experience with large, multiyear initiatives that frequently include working with multiple stakeholders and gaining consensus on initiatives that might take several years to plan and execute.
Prior to joining Manatt, Sharon was a managing consultant with The Lewin Group, where she led a multiyear project with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and spearheaded a strategy for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to implement new provider network criteria for Medicare Advantage Plans. Sharon also worked at Accenture as a manager in its health care payer strategy division and began her career at United HealthCare, building customized networks.
