Bio

Sarah Sullivan Codner

Sarah Sullivan Codner is a director with Manatt Health, an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of Manatt. Sarah supports a wide range of public- and private-sector health care stakeholders, conducting policy and quantitative research, providing project management services, tracking federal and state policy developments, and monitoring health care markets and emerging trends. Sarah has worked on multiple strategic planning projects for safety net provider organizations responding to health policy reforms.

Prior to joining Manatt, Sarah worked in both global and domestic health policy. Most recently, Sarah provided strategic guidance, planning and implementation support for developing health systems in 10 Sub-Saharan African countries as a health policy program manager at the Earth Institute at Columbia University.

Sarah also served as an AmeriCorps member at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center’s Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division and Community Health Education Center. In addition, Sarah was a researcher in domestic tobacco control policy at the University of California, San Francisco’s Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education, where she researched and wrote case studies, articles and reports on state tobacco control policies and provided strategic recommendations to health advocates and state government agencies.
