We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved friend and colleague Nancy Feinrider. Nancy was a partner with Manatt’s government and regulatory team in New York.
A member of Manatt for more than 20 years, Nancy’s work was irrevocably intertwined with the building blocks of New York, having a practice that spanned construction, infrastructure, technology, and public contracting. She represented clients in public procurement disputes, construction litigation, arbitration, mediation, ADR; counseling clients on commercial management of construction and infrastructure/technology projects, including negotiation and drafting of project contracts and change orders; structuring negotiation and settlement of construction claims on behalf of both owners and contractors as well as complex litigation in state and federal court in respect of a broad range of commercial matters. Nancy also had extensive experience in public contracting in federal, New York State and New York City environments, particularly in the construction, transportation and technology sectors.
Previously, Nancy served as a legal intern at the Federal Judicial Center, where she edited Asbestos Litigation in the United States Courts, published by the Center in 1985. From 1985 to 1986, Nancy served as law clerk to Hon. Michael K. Dolinger, U.S. Judge-Magistrate, Southern District of New York.
Nancy will be deeply missed.
