Matt Williamson is the leader of Manatt’s Energy and Environment group. Based in Manatt’s Orange County office, his practice focuses on the representation of clients in environmental matters. Matt regularly advises clients facing complex permitting and enforcement matters and on all other aspects of compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations. He represents clients in litigation, administrative proceedings and enforcement actions, including on matters involving hazardous waste, water, clean air, FIFRA/pesticides, Prop 65 and natural resources, among others.

In addition to his environmental practice, Matt also handles white collar matters involving the representation of clients in connection with all phases of governmental investigations, criminal jury trials, quasi-criminal and regulatory matters, as well as conducting internal investigations of corporate clients following allegations of misconduct.
