Katelyn Climaco
Katelyn is an associate in Manatt’s Employment and Labor group in the Firm’s Los Angeles office. She represents clients in state and federal courts in a variety of employment matters, including class, representative, and individual actions involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, wage and hour compliance, and more. Katelyn is also experienced in conducting workplace investigations.
Before joining Manatt, Katelyn was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Marutollo of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She was also a litigation associate in the New York offices of two large law firms where her practice centered on a range of complex commercial litigation matters, including corporate governance, trade secrets, and employment cases. Katelyn has significant court experience, having successfully argued against a motion for preliminary injunction in New York state court and having tried cases to verdict in both state and federal court.
During law school, Katelyn served as the Productions Editor of the Pace Environmental Law Review and was captain of Pace’s Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team, where she competed against law schools worldwide and ranked in the top 10% of teams. She also represented Pace at the Battle of the Experts Mock Trial Competition, where she received an Outstanding Advocate Award.
