BNA’s Environmental Webinar
“Green Marketing: Understanding the New Legal Landscape”
November 9, 2010
For the first time in 12 years, the Federal Trade Commission has issued revisions to its environmental Green Guides, which provide comprehensive guidance to advertisers on how to make claims about the environmental attributes of their products and operations.
To unpack the Guides’ far-reaching implications for marketers in their advertising activities and operations, Manatt partners Chris Cole and Craig Moyer will lead a 90-minute webinar discussion along with Dick Pastor, a vice president at Shaw Environmental, on November 9 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm EST. They will review the proposed changes to the Guides, discuss how the Guides will shape marketing and legal strategies, and provide advice regarding how to maximize competitive advantage under the changing standards.
