Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, is pleased to welcome Sarah E. Moses to the firm’s Entertainment group in its Los Angeles office. Moses’ practice focuses on advising a variety of stakeholders within the entertainment community on complex litigation, commercial disputes and white collar criminal defense matters. Her arrival further deepens the firm’s industry-leading entertainment capabilities as well as its integrated legal and consulting approach as it advises the world’s most notable entertainment and media icons and innovators on complex issues confronting the industry, both inside and outside the courtroom.
With extensive hands-on experience developing and managing case strategy in matters pending in federal and state court, Moses regularly serves as the primary advisor to clients on their most sensitive business matters.
Moses’ recent work within the broader entertainment sector has included guiding a major talent agency in an antitrust action, representing a grunge band in a copyright and trademark dispute with a fashion designer, and counseling a sports agency in contract disputes with professional athletes, in addition to a variety of other complex and transformative matters at the intersection of entertainment, business and law.

Moses received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Northwestern University.
