Manatt’s Jack Quinn, a partner in the firm’s government and regulatory practice, spoke with CNN to discuss the allegations that President Donald Trump worked for Russia.
Several news reports have covered allegations of Trump’s involvement with and for Russia, and the news segment made note of the fact that the FBI has dived in to investigate whether Trump worked for President Vladimir Putin directly and whether he covered up information regarding their conversations.
Going into detail on Trump and Russia’s relationship prior to the election, Quinn said that Trump was engaged in working on a Moscow building project and that “during the entire course of Trump’s campaign for the presidency, he was compromised because he was negotiating a big business deal.”
