Manatt’s Scott Schwartz, a partner in the firm’s corporate and finance practice, was interviewed by Bloomberg Radio to discuss augmented reality and virtual reality startups.
Regarding the trends emerging in the AR and VR space, Schwartz explained, “We’re seeing a lot in the content space because the big money is really being thrown at manufacturing and hardware. All of those companies are then looking for AR and VR content … good AR/VR content, specifically on the VR side, is really tough to find, and the players are still emerging in that space.”
“A lot are diving in with strategic investments, like the big studios and big ad agencies, to raise capital and start trying to get some of their content out there,” he added.
