Manatt’s Jack Quinn, a partner in the firm’s government and regulatory practice, was interviewed by CNN to discuss the firing of Peter Strzok from the FBI.
CNN explored the dismissal of Strzok, an FBI agent who investigated Russia’s involvement with the 2016 election, noting that he was sending anti-Trump texts and also sent work information to his personal email address.
“To put a fine point on it, Peter Strzok provided the principal cannon fodder for a relentless attack on the FBI, the Department of Justice and the Special Counsel Investigation,” said Quinn.
