Eligibility expansion and rules requiring low-income constituents to work are just two of several potential changes to Medicaid, according to the publication. Democratic or Republican wins in key states will also dictate the program’s progress or diminishment.
Boozang said that a Democratic gubernatorial win in a state like Michigan might lead the state to reconsider its proposal to add work requirements to Medicaid.
