The launch of Obamacare ushered in a brief period of insurer losses and premium increases, noted the publication, but the program has found level ground as markets have settled in and become more predictable. Ario discussed this steadiness in talking about state coverage of high-cost claims and risk pools.
“The markets are better in the states that have done things to strengthen their risk pools,” said Ario.
