Manatt’s Robert Jacobs, co-chair of the firm’s entertainment, sports and media litigation practice, was interviewed by the Daily Journal for an article on a dying Fox-branded theme park project in Malaysia.
The publication noted that the plaintiff is suing The Walt Disney Company, Fox Entertainment Group LLC and other Fox affiliates, alleging that the entertainment titans worked to sabotage the project.
“When you’re talking about amusement parks and other ventures of this sort, which are new, damages are really difficult to prove. There’s a lot of vulnerability on the plaintiff’s side,” said Jacobs.
