As reported by Variety, Manatt’s Laurence Marks, a partner in the firm’s entertainment and media practice, represented screenwriters Scott Beck and Bryan Woods in negotiations to produce “The Boogeyman.”
The publication noted that Twentieth Century Fox is developing a film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1973 short story “The Boogeyman” and reported that Beck and Woods, who are best known for their “A Quiet Place” screenwriting, finalized a deal with Fox to become the horror film’s executive producers.
