The Los Angeles Times quoted Joel Ario, a managing director with Manatt Health, for an article about critics of the Affordable Care Act who have redoubled claims that the health law isn’t working. Many of those same critics, the publication says, are politicians who took steps over the last several years to undermine the 2010 law and fuel the current turmoil in their insurance markets.
“It’s the same basic lesson I tell my kids,” said Ario. “If you put the work into something, you will get results. If you just sit on the sidelines and complain, you shouldn’t be surprised if things don’t work out.”
