Anti-Defamation League Honors Manatt's George Kieffer with Jurisprudence Award

December 10, 2013 - The Anti-Defamation League will honor Manatt's George Kieffer, chair of the firm's Government & Regulatory Policy Division, at a Centennial Gala on December 10, 2013 in Los Angeles. Kieffer will be presented the organization's 2013 Jurisprudence Award, which recognizes community members whose leadership in their professional, philanthropic and civic contributions exemplify the ideals of the ADL. Proceeds from the gala, which also celebrates 100 years of ADL's impact, will support the organization's efforts to combat anti-Semitism and bigotry of all kinds.

Considered the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency, ADL was established in 1913 to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. It fights anti-Semitism and bigotry through educational programs, coalitions with community leaders, and partnerships with local law enforcement," according to the organization's website.
