Manatt Privacy and Data Security Partner and Co-Leader Scott T. Lashway will present at the IAPP’s Global Privacy Summit on “Privacy Regulatory Enforcement and Class Action Lawsuits” in Washington, D.C., on April 2, 2024.

This panel of esteemed practitioners will focus on current enforcement actions and lawsuits within the AdTech industry, examining key cases and trends in privacy-related litigation, including recent Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), wiretapping and “trap and trace” cases. The discussion also will focus on Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state attorney general (AG) enforcement actions and initiatives as well as AdTech’s interaction with otherwise regulated data, such as HIPAA data or data regulated by the FTC’s breach notification rule.
