Lah to Speak at The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Convention

Manatt Corporate and Finance Partner Veronica Lah will speak on a panel session, titled “Demystifying the Corporate Transparency Act - Tips for Legal Compliance and Business Success,” at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Convention on November 8, 2024.

The NAPABA Convention is an annual gathering of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander attorneys, judges, law professors and law students, bringing meaningful insights, networking opportunities and perspective to the legal community. Lah will join a panel of real estate, trust and corporate attorneys to discuss the impact of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) on their practices and clients. The panel will explain the law's general rules, how to identify beneficial owners and provide key compliance tips for clients required to submit a CTA report. The session will also include a walkthrough of a sample report, giving the audience a clear understanding of the process.
