Digital and Technology Transactions Partners Ned Sherman and Eric Bergner and Manatt Entertainment Leader Jordan Bromley will speak at Digital Entertainment World (DEW), a five-day conference dedicated to evaluating the rise of the digital media landscape. This year’s conference will be held virtually from February 7–11.

The ninth annual event takes a deep dive into its theme, “Entering the Metaverse,” which is central to the future of the entertainment, media and technology industries. The conference will explore topics including the explosion of businesses around blockchain games, NFTs, and virtual worlds, alongside other key digital and technology developments, such as streaming, influencer marketing, esports, games, podcasting and licensing.

Sherman will moderate a keynote conversation, “Investing in the Games Ecosystem,” and speak on a panel titled “Esports + Games Dealmakers.” Bergner will moderate a panel titled “Licensing the Metaverse,” and Bromley will speak on a panel titled “No Laughing Matter: Comedy, Spoken Word Audio, Rights and Royalties.”
