Scott Lashway, partner and co-leader of Manatt’s Privacy and Data Security practice, and Joseph Reilly, Manatt Financial Services partner, will speak at the Online Lenders Alliance’s (OLA) Executive Policy Summit, which will take place in person in Washington, D.C., April 27–28.
Joseph will speak on a panel titled “What Does the Future Hold for AI and Machine Learning?” on April 27 from 3:30 to 4 p.m. ET. The panel will discuss what’s fueling rapid growth in artificial intelligence and machine learning, the policy hurdles preventing greater use, and how to overcome them.
Scott will speak on a panel titled “Is There a New Era for Data Privacy on the Horizon?” on April 28 from 11 a.m. to noon ET. The panel will cover the role of responsible data in financial services and examine some of the impediments to its broader use, including the need for ID protections, fraud mitigation factors and what the industry needs to do to increase consumer trust.
