Manatt Health Partner Brian Bewley and Counsel Katie Dunn will speak at the annual Healthcare Enforcement Compliance Conference hosted by the Health Care Compliance Association.

Brian will speak in a session titled “Internal Investigation, Repayment and Self-Disclosure” on November 9. The session will cover authority, practical considerations, procedures and best practices for internal investigations.

Katie will speak in a session titled “Effective Compliance and Due Diligence” on November 8. The session will explore the foundation of comprehensive compliance-centered due diligence processes. It will also cover how transaction structures affect the scope and approach of due diligence as well as best practices for monitoring post-transaction compliance and risk mitigation.

The Healthcare Enforcement Compliance Conference, which will take place virtually November 7–9, brings together government enforcement leaders to speak on regulatory changes, expectations and key priorities. The conference will provide insight into current enforcement issues and how to detect problems and properly investigate violations within organizations.
