Jordan Bromley, leader of Manatt’s entertainment transactions and finance practice, will speak on a virtual panel titled “Digital Streaming: Envisioning a More Equitable Model” at Mondo.NYC’s Music & Tech Law Symposium on October 15. The event will discuss recent U.K.-based government hearings on the fairness of how digital and streaming royalties are split, user-centric and other digital payment models, and the changes needed in laws and regulations in order to rebalance digital royalty payments.
Mondo.NYC’s Music & Tech Law Symposium is an all-day virtual entertainment law seminar addressing legal developments affecting the music industry, including recent court decisions upending fundamental issues, the reimagining of key policy matters and how various aspects of the industry have been affected by a post-COVID-19 world.
