Manatt is pleased to sponsor the National Association of Former United States Attorneys 2019 Conference to be held in San Francisco beginning on September 25, 2019.

The National Association of Former United States Attorneys (NAFUSA) was founded in 1979 to promote, defend and further the integrity and the preservation of the litigating authority and independence of the office of the United States Attorney (USA). The association provides a forum for education and continuing professional relationships that have been formed with the Department of Justice, and for the exchange of information and professional referrals in private practice. Membership is open only to persons who have served as a USA pursuant to a presidential commission.

Manatt partners Rick Hartunian and Sirena Castillo will be in attendance on behalf of the firm. Hartunian is a former USA and a NAFUSA board member. Confirmed conference speakers include Dean of Berkeley Law Erwin Chemerinsky, former USA for the Southern District of California Carol Lam, and USA for the District of Columbia Jessie Liu.
