This will be Novogradac’s first conference on the new community development incentive and will cater to developers, investors and a wide variety of community development professionals seeking to learn more about the basics, fund sponsors, investment opportunities, expectations from the federal government, best practices for combining this incentive with other tax credits, tax and legal implications, and more.

Neil Faden, partner in Manatt’s corporate and finance practice, will speak on a panel titled “Overcoming Tax and Legal Obstacles.” In the panel, Neil and five other tax and legal practitioners will outline how investors, opportunity funds and qualified businesses can overcome obstacles while raising capital and investing in distressed businesses.
