On Oct. 7, River LA will honor Manatt and Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl at its 8th Annual Urban Garden Party. The event will be held at Apothéke, located along the 51-mile Los Angeles River. Both recipients will be recognized for their significant work on the river and for their support in fulfilling a vision to reimagine it through improvements and changes to design and infrastructure. Manatt has provided pro bono legal services to River LA since the organization’s founding.

Manatt government partner Randall Keen will accept the honor and offer remarks on behalf of the firm. The evening will celebrate the historical, cultural and aesthetic assets the river brings to the city, and will feature live performances, food and interactive art from a variety of local artists and restaurants.

The event will be held Oct. 7, 2018, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
