Manatt is pleased to support the New York eHealth Collaborative Digital Health Conference on November 17-18, 2014 at Pier Sixty in New York. The conference convenes a diverse group of healthcare providers, IT companies, start-ups, investors and entrepreneurs to hear the latest insights from leaders in the health IT community.
Manatt partner Deven McGraw was invited to moderate a panel session on “Meaningful ‘Re-Use’ of Health Data—Confronting and Resolving the Policy and Ethical Issues.” During this session, presenters will explore the ethical and legal challenges raised by re-use of health data for a range of purposes and consider potential solutions to meet these challenges and build trust in responsible re-uses of health data to improve health and well-being.
McGraw was also asked to serve as a panelist in a session titled “The New York State of Health IT: Where Are We Today and Perspectives for the Future.” She and her co-panelists will provide a state-of-the-state of health IT in New York and an update of where we stand in realizing the vision of interconnecting health records statewide through the SHIN-NY.
