Manatt Entertainment Leader Jordan Bromley and Partner Sophia Yen were recognized on The Hollywood Reporter’s 2023 Power Lawyers list for their work in some of the entertainment industry’s most sought-after legal advisers.
Bromley was named to the list for leading Manatt Entertainment’s professionals in closing more than $3 billion in IP transactions in the past 18 months, as well as representing some of the industry’s most well-known artists. The profile also highlighted his impactful work leading negotiations for California’s Music Business Exemption in the states’s AB5 legislation affecting gig economy workers.
Yen was recognized for leading the Manatt team that advised on the formation of HARTBEAT and in its $100 million capital raise led by private equity firm Abry Partners. Her profile also noted her work on the film financing front, including advising Ley Line Entertainment, MS Participations and Wavelength Productions.
