This annual list honors the state’s leading women lawyers for their accomplishments both in and out of the courtroom.

Topper was recognized as a key member of the Firm’s litigation team with “extensive experience in entertainment law and complex business litigation” and as leader of Manatt's New York office. The profile featured her work in contractual disputes, royalty claims, copyright law, business torts, employment matters, class actions and securities law. In particular, Crain's highlighted Topper's defense of a music company in a lawsuit challenging the company’s decision to sever ties with a musical group as well as her role on a Manatt team that secured summary judgment in a landmark copyright litigation in favor of defendants.
