Manatt’s Michelle Cooke, leader of the firm’s intellectual property protection and enforcement practice, was ranked by World Trademark Review on its WTR 1000 list for being a leading attorney in the trademark space. Cooke ranked silver in the “prosecution and strategy” category and bronze in the “enforcement and litigation” category.
In its entry for Cooke, the publication notes that she “has worked hard and succeeded in expanding the trademark practice at Manatt Phelps & Phillips, gaining momentum as a result of her willingness to talk lucidly with clients on a commercial level, as well as her excellence at risk management and at identifying brand expansion opportunities.”
This is Cooke’s eighth consecutive year in the WTR 1000 rankings, which recognizes individual practitioners and their firms exclusively in the trademark field, and identifies the leading players in over 80 key jurisdictions globally. Attorneys are included on this list based on positive feedback from sources with knowledge of their practice and their market.
