Manatt partners Edward G. Burg, Ellen R. Marshall and James R. Schwartz have been named “Lawyers of the Year” for 2018 by Best Lawyers in America. Only one lawyer from each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the Lawyer of the Year, making this a particularly significant achievement.
Lawyers honored as “Lawyer of the Year” are selected based on exceptional voting averages during Best Lawyer’s exhaustive peer-review assessments conducted with thousands of leading lawyers. This designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and practice areas for their abilities, professionalism and integrity.
