On May 10, 2014, the Environmental Charter Schools honored Manatt with its Superhero Award. The award recognizes the firm's pro bono legal services to the network schools, as well as the strides that Manatt is making to green its offices nationwide. Manatt's Matthew Portnoff, a partner in the firm's Tax, Employee Benefits & Global Compensation practice, accepted the award during the organization's Black Tie Benefit at the Annenberg Space for Photography - Skylight Studios in Los Angeles.
