Eric I. Bartholet
Eric Bartholet is a managing director of Manatt Health, an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of Manatt. With more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry providing strategic consulting and program leadership, he advises health care clients on a broad range of implications stemming from health care reform, with a particular emphasis on strategy and planning for academic medical centers, large integrated delivery systems and state health care agencies.
Eric has led a wide variety of strategic planning initiatives focusing on clinical enterprise strategy, governance redesign, clinical service line development, strategic partnerships, research institute and program development, enterprise IT strategy, digital health, data and analytics strategy, and health care agency strategy. He has also served as the interim senior vice president of strategy and business development for a leading children’s health care system. Prior to joining Manatt, Eric was a partner in the Health Delivery Planning and Operations Group of Computer Sciences Corporation’s (CSC) Global Healthcare Solutions, where he concentrated on IT strategy, planning and organizational design. He provided leadership for a broad range of IT strategic services, including spearheading the development of CSC’s academic medical center IT strategic planning capabilities.
