Emily Mola-Liu is a staff attorney based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Emily has worked in intellectual property law with a focus on trademark prosecution and clearance. She has experience advising clients, including entrepreneurs and small businesses, on trademark matters and is skilled in preparing office action responses, trademark applications and clearance searches. She is also adept at persuading the USPTO to withdraw refusals and resolve complex trademark issues. Prior to joining Manatt, she represented clients across various industries, including finance, consumer goods, entertainment and technology. Emily is also fluent in Spanish, which enhances her ability to communicate with a diverse client base.
