Emily Polk is a senior manager with Manatt Health and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.

Emily assists in business strategy recommendations for Manatt’s clients. Her practice includes payment and delivery system transformation; health care reform implementation; hospital, health system and academic medical center operations/strategy; strategic planning services; Medicaid policy, redesign and innovation; Medicare program elements; health IT strategy; and pharmaceutical market access, coverage and reimbursement strategies.

Prior to joining Manatt, Emily worked as a quality analyst intern for Covered California. She has also worked as a program and policy associate at a national nonprofit consumer advocacy organization, where she focused on issues related to Affordable Care Act implementation and children’s health. Her experience also includes working as a health services intern at a public health research and consulting firm and as a research intern at a hospital in Rhode Island.
