Christina Jenkins, M.D.
Christina Jenkins, M.D., is a national advisor to Manatt Health. A notable health care leader in New York and beyond, Christina enables innovation, growth and value generation for providers, payers and privately held health care organizations. To each relationship, she brings a unique perspective of the U.S. health care system, spanning clinical medicine, health systems executive leadership, venture capital and health plan governance.
Her specific area of concentration includes health system redesign and growth strategies, health care technology assessments, large-scale change management and multistakeholder collaborations, integrated care strategies, and clinical value improvement. Recently, Christina was the vice-chair of the NYC COVID-19 Rapid Response Coalition, helping support vulnerable New Yorkers via tech-enabled outreach and social services supports. She was the founding CEO of OneCity Health, a subsidiary of NYC Health + Hospitals, the nation’s largest public hospital system. There, Christina led a $1.2 billion effort to redesign the care continuum, effecting technology-enabled care models and community partnerships to accelerate value-based payment readiness for one million lives.
Separately, Christina is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Convergent Ventures, a seed and early-stage venture fund focused on health and sustainability. There, she leads the fund’s health/life sciences strategy and invests in deep-tech platform companies that change the way we diagnose, monitor or treat health conditions.
