Carolyn Sharzer is an associate in the Firm’s Washington, D.C., office. She is a 2022 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Prior to joining Manatt, Carolyn worked as a litigation fellow in the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor, Plan Benefits Security Division, where she supported the division’s ERISA litigation work. She also externed with the ACLU of Pennsylvania.
Before law school, Carolyn worked in nonprofits and for the state of Massachusetts in Medicare and Medicaid advocacy and policy. In this work, she handled issues including Medicare Part D, long-term care, durable medical equipment, Medicare and Medicaid eligibility and enrollment, and Section 1915(c) waivers.
