Bernard Mantel is a Manatt Entertainment associate in the firm’s New York office. He focuses his practice on music and entertainment transactional matters—including the negotiation and drafting of recording, publishing, touring, festival, distribution, licensing, producer, mixer, sponsorship and endorsement agreements—as well as complex intellectual property and copyright issues.
Before joining Manatt, Bernard worked as an entertainment associate for a large national law firm in New York City, where he handled a wide variety of entertainment matters, including management, employment, live performance, licensing, sponsorship and endorsement contracts. He has extensive experience advising high-profile artists, agents, managers and music executives, having served as associate counsel to United Talent Agency and AM Only, now known as Paradigm Talent Agency.
During law school, Bernard interned for the Honorable Joan A. Lenard of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
