Andrew L. Morrison

Foreign and domestic companies, investment banks and high net worth individuals engage Andrew to pursue and defend high-profile and high-stakes litigation including M&A litigation involving post-closing disputes, indemnification claims, restrictive covenants and earn-outs. Andrew has spent decades defending issuers, syndicators, investment banks, investment managers, hedge funds, boards of directors, senior management, and board committees in connection with federal securities fraud claims and related state common-law claims. In addition, Andrew litigates direct and derivative claims involving disputes among business owners such as shareholders, LLC members and partners, in industries such as energy, fintech, real estate and technology. Andrew also advises high-net-worth individuals concerning business disputes and crisis management. For over a decade, Andrew has worked with The Veterans Consortium to provide pro bono appellate assistance to veterans of the United States Armed Forces and their families regarding their death and disability benefits.

Andrew has tried cases in federal and state courts in New York including the New York County Commercial Division and the Southern District of New York. Also, he has appeared and argued in state and federal courts throughout the country, including in Delaware, California, New Jersey, Louisiana, Texas, Connecticut and Michigan. Andrew has successfully handled numerous appeals in both state and federal court and regularly represents clients in connection with alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.
