Andrea Del-Carmen Gonzalez is an associate in Manatt’s Los Angeles office where she is a member of the entertainment litigation group. Andrea’s practice focuses on issues related to entertainment, including copyright and trademark, and a variety of complex litigation and commercial disputes, including commercial leases and real estate contracts. She is experienced in all stages of litigation—researching complex issues, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, interviewing and deposing witnesses, and taking cases to trial. Andrea has practiced before federal, state and probate courts as well as in arbitration and judicial reference proceedings.
Before joining Manatt, Andrea served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael R. Wilner of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, where she researched and drafted orders and reports providing recommendations for complex commercial litigation matters and discovery disputes. She also served as a law clerk for the Orleans Public Defenders office and worked as a summer associate at a New York-based law firm, where she assisted in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including preparing an amicus brief to the Supreme Court.
Her pro bono experience includes representing a street vendor who received criminal charges that were ultimately dismissed. Andrea is fluent in Spanish and involved with the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
