Nina V. Punukollu
Nina Punukollu provides policy analysis, operational management, and research support to health care stakeholders in the public and private sectors. She brings a variety of experience in data analysis, hospital operations and strategy, and research-based assessments of health care services and marketplace initiatives.
Prior to Manatt, Nina served as a research assistant/programmer for Mathematica Policy Research, where she provided qualitative and quantitative research support for a variety of health policy initiatives. In this role, she analyzed electronic health record data to develop health care quality measures for use in CMS quality-reporting programs. In addition, she identified best practices for ACA State-Based Marketplace (SBM) eligibility and enrollment business processes through qualitative analyses of interviews with SBM officials.
While working toward her graduate degree in health policy and management, Nina served as an operations intern at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP)/Westchester Division, where she developed strategies to improve patient flow, using process maps and patient wait-time data analysis. Earlier in her career, Nina served as the public affairs intern in the U.S. Department of State’s Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator.
