The Washington Post reports that David Bowie's popularity and financial worth has soared since his recent passing. Those running Bowie's estate will begin looking for ways to carry on his legacy without exploiting his art.

"Music is very subjective and creative. Business is business," said Gilbert. "Marrying those two concepts is kind of weird sometimes."
