Laura Manley Ladopoulos is a senior legislative analyst within the government and regulatory group in the Firm’s Albany office. With over ten years of experience in legislative policy analysis for the New York State Senate and Assembly, she focuses her research on new and ongoing New York State policies and regulations and how they will impact clients.
Before joining Manatt, Laura worked as a legislative director to Senator Rich Funke, as well as director of the Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Park and Recreation Committee within the New York State Senate. There, she provided research and analysis for pending legislation, supporting efforts to advise stakeholders and reach consensus on legislative priorities and committee issues.
Laura also worked as a director of policy development, clerking for New York State Senator Mark Grisanti to create, sponsor and pass his legislative agenda, while also working with school districts, nonprofits, private organizations and local officials to address grants and state budget issues.
