Manatt Entertainment Partner W. Joseph Anderson was quoted in Bloomberg Law on the recent surge of phony celebrity endorsements generated by artificial intelligence (AI) and the legal implications of this technology.
The article discussed numerous examples of AI “deepfake” advertisements that seek to scam consumers into purchasing users’ products or services.
