Manatt’s Jack Quinn, a partner in the firm’s government and regulatory practice, was interviewed by The Washington Post about the escalating legal issues facing President Donald Trump and his team.
The publication reported that Trump’s advisers and confidants feel unprepared to effectively respond to potential subpoenas or even impeachment in the coming year. Sources also noted that the president has not decided on a plan of action but is considering adding more lawyers to his legal team.
“The president needs to have the very best lawyers he can get both in the White House and outside representing him personally,” said Quinn.
