Manatt’s Jack Quinn, a partner in the firm’s government and regulatory practice, was interviewed by CNN to further the discussion of Don McGahn’s testimony.
McGahn’s lawyers believe that nothing in the 30 hours of interviews between McGahn and Robert Mueller’s team incriminates President Trump, CNN reported.
“And as Don McGahn’s lawyer acknowledged, though he thinks there was nothing incriminating, he doesn’t know all of the evidence in the case and he doesn’t know how it all fits together. So what he’s saying when he acknowledges that, [is] he doesn’t know what incriminating necessarily is,” said Quinn.
