Manatt’s Jocelyn Guyer, a managing director with Manatt Health, spoke to MedPage Today for an article on President Trump’s State of the Union address.
The publication noted that reactions to the speech were varied. For Guyer, the speech seemed to signal that the Trump administration may not initiate a lot of legislation on healthcare, noting that Trump said very little on the topic.
Guyer also expressed concern about the opioid crisis and high prescription drug prices. “There’s been a lot of concern and talk for a while,” she explained, “but the health policy community is looking for the specifics going forward.”
