Manatt’s Jack Quinn, a partner in the firm’s government and regulatory practice, was interviewed by CNN to discuss the Don McGahn testimony.
CNN explored White House lawyer Don McGahn’s 30 hours of testimony to Robert Mueller’s team, and discussed the strategic implications of the lengthy testimony.
“They’ve been focused entirely on whether the president is going to sit down for an interview with the Special Counsel, back and forth, back and forth, ‘we’re not going to do that,’ being very tough,” said Quinn. “In the meantime, they turn their back on the White House Counsel, and he [McGahn] has given them 30 hours of interviews—it is the next best thing.”
